      Iran Alzheimer's Association Specialized Clinic Opened Thanks to Parsian Bank's One-billion Toman Donation

      The medical and specialized counseling center of Iran Alzheimer's Association (Hafezeh Specialized Clinic), which was built thanks to Parsian Bank's one-billion Toman donation, started its activity after an opening ceremony.

      Dr. Zarghami, a member of the board of directors of Parsian Bank, said at the opening ceremony of Hafezeh Specialized Clinic, "Moving towards social responsibilities and charitable contributions is not a cost, rather a type of investment whose benefits are for both the bank and its employees.”
      Dr. Zarghami added, "Since contributing to the promotion of people's health is one of the priorities of Parsian Bank, in 2016, an agreement was concluded between Parsian Bank and Iran Alzheimer's Association, and as a result, Parsian Bank donated one billion tomans in order to resume the construction of the Alzheimer's Clinic Complex. Today, this complex was opened and we hope that in the coming years, the services provided to Alzheimer's patients will develop."
      Parsian Bank Donated One-billion Tomans to Eliminate Deprivation in Underprivileged Areas
      Mentioning other services provided by Parsian Bank as social responsibilities, the member of the board of directors of Parsian Bank added, "In short, since the establishment of Parsian Bank, the bank has moved towards empowering the community, so that a significant percentage of the employment created in rural areas is the result of the activities done by this bank."
      He also referred to the cooperation of Parsian Bank with the Barakat Foundation of the Execution of Imam Khomeini's Order (EIKO) and maintained, "Within the Rural Participatory Plan, the bank has paid 12,000 billion rials for job creation facilities."
      The member of Parsian Bank's board of directors also talked about the measures taken by the bank in eliminating deprivation and promoting social justice and community health, and added, "Efforts to secure food and medicine, equip medical centers, pay facilities to pharmaceutical companies, particularly medications for rare diseases and cancer patients, water supply, natural gas supply and housing, construction of health centers, entrepreneurship through the development of the country's aviation fleet, steel mills, optimization of worn-out taxis, supporting export enterprises, and development of refineries are among other measures taken by Parsian Bank."

      At the ceremony, Mr. Salehi, the CEO of Iran Alzheimer's Association, acknowledged Parsian Bank for equipping and launching this specialized complex for patients with Alzheimer's disease, and stated, "Thanks to Parsian Bank, we could take a big step towards treating and improving their living conditions."
      Stating that health centers have been established in 12 provinces to identify and treat people with Alzheimer's disease with the collaboration of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education and State Retirement Fund for Civil Servants, he added, "It should be noted that one-year early diagnosis delays 5 years of disability caused by the disease. Hence, large-scale screening can help people to have a better quality of life and the elderly can enjoy a more comfortable and better life."
      Mr. Ayazi, former Deputy Minister of Social Affairs of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, Mr. Kalhori, Mayor of District 5, Mr. Hajati, Chairman of the Board of Iran Alzheimer's Association, Ms. Salehi, President of Iran Alzheimer's Association, and Mr. Shatty, Head of the Elderly Department of the Ministry of Health were present at the ceremony. They appreciated and acknowledged the efforts made by Parsian Bank in building and equipping the Alzheimer's complex and the efforts made to improve people's health in the country.
