      At the Conference of Mental Health and Social Institutions, the CEO of Parsian Bank stated: “Mental health is an important social responsibility concerned by Parsian Bank.”

      Attended by Dr. Parvizian, CEO of Parsian Bank and Vice Chairman of the Iranian Mental Health Association, the Conference of Mental Health and Social Institutions was sponsored and held by Parsian Bank to raise public awareness and promote the mental health at Parsian Bank’s conference hall on April 23.

      According to a report by Parsian Bank Public Relations, this event was attended by Dr. Ayazi the Deputy Minister of Health and Social Affairs, Dr. Noorbala Chairman of Iranian Mental Health Association, Ms. Rasuliyan Chairman of Iranian Psychiatrists Association, Dr. Fakoor Secretary of the Conference and many experts and scholars involved in the health sector. Sitting at the specialized panel, Dr. Parvizian warmly welcomed the guests: “The Parsian team is proud to be hosting several Iranian great figures, scholars and practitioners in the health sector who have been striving to promote the corporate objectives and efficiency of national firms. We hope to realize a better society through cooperation and synergy initiated by this team.”
      Dr. Parvizian added: “Mental health is discussed today as a social responsibility issue. My colleagues and I in Parsian Bank are well aware of the importance of mental health. With over 30 years of professional experience in the realm of management, we acknowledge how mental health is critical given the latest statistics on the financial burden of mental disorders imposed against households and health agencies.”
      While pointing out the critical issue of unemployment in the Iranian society, the Vice Chairman of the Iranian Mental Health Association argued: “One of the key factors extremely affecting the human life, individual and family health is unemployment as mentioned by the Supreme Leader. It is crucial to take effective measures to tackle unemployment.”
      At the end, CEO of Parsian Bank expressed his hopes for effective steps taken to maintain and improve health in the Iranian society.

      After expressing his gratefulness for the host at Conference of Mental Health and Social Institutions, Dr. Parvizian CEO of Parsian Bank and Vice Chairman of Iranian Mental Health Association, Seyed Mohammad HadiAyazi, Deputy Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, stated: “I’d like to appreciate Parsian’s collaborative approach to the health sector, and I hope that the preset goals will be achieved soon by holding such great events.”
      He stressed: “In partnership with several organizations and associations such as Parsian Bank, we can promote public participation in resolving mental health problems.”
      The Deputy Ministry of Health noted: “There are currently 620 private institutions and 875 charity organizations involved in the Iranian health sector, which can be expanded by building further infrastructure.” Ayaziadded, “In an effort to build a vast network of mental health through public participation, we established an association run by a group of highly proficient experts just a few months ago. “Given that 2017 has been named after prevention of depression, we registered the new association to take an initiative in the Iranian mental health sector.”
      Parsian Bank has been supporting the Association to achieve its lofty goals.
      Dr. Fakoor, Secretary of the Conference of Mental Health and Social Institutions, appreciated Parsian as a health-oriented bank, while expressing special thanks to Dr. KoroushParvizian CEO of Parsian Bank and his colleagues for holding such a great event: “This conference has been contributed by many social workers, psychologists, psychiatric nurses, mental health specialists and a few health-oriented firms spearheaded by Parsian Bank.
      The Iranian Mental Health Association (IMHA) has been operating since 2015 in an effort to promote health in the Iranian society in line with general health policies in the country. Meanwhile, Parsian Bank has sponsored this event to help achieve that very cause.
      At the end of the conference, several health agents were introduced and awarded for their efforts to maintain and improve mental health in the Iranian society. The mental health agents included 1) the late Dr. AfshinYadollahi whose plaque of appreciation was awarded by the Organ Donation Association to his father, 2) Iraj Rezaian an Iranian mellifluous dubber, 3) Dr. KatayunNajafizadeh CEO of Iranian Organ Donation Association, 4) AnickShahmoradi a former highly praised psychiatric nurse in Iran, 5) Mohsen Tanha a former psychologist, and 6) CEO of Tehran Charity Institute of Mentally Handicapped.
