      Parsian Bank’s strategy to support knowledge-based firms

      Parsian Bank Training and Research Center for Islamic Banking held the first technical meeting on finance for knowledge-based firms.

      Parsian Bank Office of Public Relations reports that the technical meeting on finance for knowledge-based firms was held by Parsian Bank Training and Research Center for Islamic Bankingin IRIB International Conferences Center. The meeting was attended by the CEO of Parsian Bank; the CEO of Barakat Foundation; the Vice-President for Management Development, Raising Capital, and Strategic Policy-Making and Evaluation; the Vice-President for Science and Technology; Parsian Bank’s board of directors and managers; faculty members of AllamehTabataba’i University, ShahidBeheshti University, Tehran University, Imam Sadiq University, and National Research Institute for Science Policy; the CEOs of knowledge-based firms; vice-presidents of SetadeEjraiyeFarmaneEmam(the Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order); and other thinkers.
      At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. ArefNowrouzi, the CEO of Barakat Foundation, referred to the important role of developing knowledge-based firms in national economy and, while appreciating banks’ concern for this fundamental issue, added that Parsian Bank is the leading bank offering services to knowledge-based firms.
      The vice-president of Parsian Bank’s board of directors said, “In order to raise capital for these firms, it is important to carefully consider their structural features such as the rate of business development, rapid changes in industry, intangible assets and their assessment, disturbing factors in business, and the high risk of failure in these firms.”
      Dr. Parvizian, the CEO of Parsian Bank, also referred to the discourse of the Supreme Leader on the economy of resistance and explained the measures taken by Parsian Bank to support knowledge-based businesses, for example,by cooperating with Barakat Foundation, the Vice-President for Science and Technology, and scientific and research centers. He said that the only way to overcome Iran’s current challenges is to raise capital for knowledge-based firms and support them in various ways so that this connected chain of actions creates new wealth.
