      With the Support of Parsian Bank, Iran’s Kumite Team Wins Title of World Championships for the First Time in Its History

      Parsian Bank, the financial sponsor of the Iranian National Karate Team in the 23rd World Karate Championships, shared with members of the National Iranian Karate Team the happiness of the winning the championship title.

      According to the Public Relations Department of Parsian Bank, at the 23rd World Karate Championships held in Linz in Austria, the Iranian National Karate Team recorded its best performance in the history of World Karate Championships by winning two gold medals (Sajjad Ganjzadeh and Amir Mehdizadeh), and three bronze medals (Hamideh Abbsali, Zabihollah Pourship, and Ali Asghar Asiabari). The Iranian Karate Federation announced that, before this edition of World Karate Championships, the best performance of Iranian teams was in 1998 when it ranked fourth in the Championships.

      In this edition of the World Karate Championships, which was held in Linz in Austria for five days, 150 karate champions from all over the world participated and Parsian Bank, as the financial sponsor of the Iranian National Karate Team, had a conspicuous presence in these Championship Games.
